The Andretti United victory at the Arctic X Prix did not bring major changes at the top of the Extreme E standings, where, after a clear dominance by Rosberg Xtreme Racing and their drivers Molly Taylor and Johan Kristoffersson, and X44 ranked first and second respectively, a considerable breach with the rest of the teams was established.
But finally, the third race was the occasion to seal a new name at the top of the podium. Catie Munnigs and Timmy Hansen were responsible for ending the RXR hegemony, displacing JBXE to fourth place.
With two races left for the end of the “Electric Odyssey” first season, the RXR team leads with 93 points, followed by X44 with 84 points, and Andretti United, with 76 points.
As mentioned above, Jenson Button’s team, JBXE, is in fourth place with 68 points after taking second place in Greenland.
Spain’s ACCIONA XE Team, featuring Laia Sanz and Carlos Sainz, is still in contention for the inaugural season title with 61 points, after their first podium finish last weekend.
Thus, the chances of glory remain distant for ABT Cupra XE, Veloce Racing, Xite Energy Racing and Segi Ganassi Racing completing the standings in that order.

Replacing Brazil, Sardinia, Italy, will host the Island X Prix on October 23-24, a date that, considering the differences among the 9 Extreme E teams, will serve as a filter to define who has a chance to reach the last round, which still has no official destination because La Patagonia, Argentina, has also been cancelled.
