With less than seven days to go until the official debut of the eSkootr Championship (eSC), the organization revealed important agreements with several television networks to ensure the broadcasting of the 100% electric scooter championship worldwide, showcasing a brand new racing discipline with a purpose that goes beyond racing.
London will host the S1-X and the 30 riders of the category from May 13-14, where for the first time they will compete one behind the other at over 100 kilometers per hour. Now, thanks to a deal struck with free on-demand streaming service Segi TV, fans in the U.S. and Canada will be able to witness the races via iOS, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung Smart TV and the web.
“Sport plays an important role in American society and we are excited to work with Segi TV to make eSC available to a large U.S. and Canadian audience,” said Sharon Fuller, eSC’s Content Director.

On the other hand, beIN SPORTS will offer the races for the Middle East in 24 countries, North Africa and 10 Asian nations as well, specifically in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey and Singapore.
“Motorsport is growing in popularity in the regions and we are excited to introduce our new form of racing to the sports calendar with our innovative and industry-leading broadcast production,” Fuller continued.
Finally, Claro Sports and Marca Claro will be in charge of distributing the content in Latin America, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela. This platform will allow Latin American fans to closely follow the performance of their Colombian representative, María Paula Arias Medina.
“Latin America is a really interesting market for us. We have a lot of Spanish-speaking riders, including Colombia’s Maria Paula Arias Medina, who has looked very good in the trials,” concluded Sharon.
