Airpseeder, the world’s first racing series for electric flying cars, has significantly strengthened its global technical leadership, engineering and sports rights teams through key hires across all disciplines.

The performance engineering company eVTOL Alauda, an Airspeeder partner, is the manufacturer of the vehicles that will compete in the next series. The operations of both companies now encompass a technical headquarters in Adelaide, South Australia. Their commercial and development base is in the United Kingdom and a third commercial headquarters in New York, United States.
This important pool of talent comes from companies such as Boeing, Jaguar Land Rover, Renault F1, McLaren, Williams Racing and the leading UK manufacturer of eVTOL, Vertical Airspace. This represents a commitment, to combine the best experts from both the aerospace and motorsports industries to create a new frontier series.

According to the Airspeeder portal, it was known that Judith Griggs will lead the acquisition and management of global rights and the configuration of Airspeeder as a sports entity. Her legal and business experience spans over 27 years in Formula 1. Meanwhile, Brett Hill will lead the engineering program for the Airspeeder Mk3 and Mk4 craft. Notably, the latter joins from Boeing, where he led technical projects and engineering teams on the 747-8 and 787 aircraft, as well as various military programs.
Matt Rodgers comes from the eVTOL Vertical Airspace team as Composer Leader. He is the first key technical employee in the UK and will pioneer the commitment to establish a much larger development center at a globally recognized center of excellence for elite motorsports and aerospace development. Rodgers brings with him senior technical leadership experience at Williams Racing, Renault F1 and Formula E.
Last but not least, David Wareing will bring a wealth of experience from high-performance and luxury automotive brands and by developing racing technology at Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) and vehicle systems at McLaren.
