This weekend will undoubtedly be one of Formula E’s most exciting. With 18 drivers still in contention for the title, the double-header in Berlin could leave some big surprises.
Nyck de Vries (95 pts) and Robin Frijns (89 pts), who are first and second respectively, will be the stars of the Berlin E-Prix, as both drivers are depending on themselves to win the title.
Sam Bird and Jake Dennis, who have the same points (81), hold third and fourth place, respectively, and will have to wait and see what happens to them.
Meanwhile, DS Techeetah’s reigning champion, António Félix da Costa, is currently in fifth place, just 15 points off the lead.
But what is certain is that, in a season so evenly matched with 18 out of 22 drivers in contention for the win, we will make a brief head-to-head comparison between de Vries and Frijns. So it will be up to the public to determine who has the better profile to take the “Season Seven “.
De Vries vs Frijns: Duel of Dutchmen
The first one drives for Mercedes-EQ, a team that will be part of Formula E until this season, while the second, does the same for Envision Virgin Racing, a team that confirmed him for next season recently.

Nyck has scored four podiums and won two races. Robin, meanwhile, has been on the podium a couple of times. But on August 14 and 15 he will be on the hook for his first win.
In fast races, the two are tied on two occasions, with a points difference of just six.
De Vries seems to have the numerical advantage at first glance, but Frijns’ illusion could play a decisive role.
The final match will take place at the Tempelhof track.
