From the hand of the designers Facundo Mehrbald and Hyung Suk Seo, a new proposal for an electric bicycle has been born that marks a new point when it comes to design in this area.
It is the SM, a model that will surely attract the public’s attention due to the new frame without a slash that makes it up.
The material chosen to create the electric bicycle has been hydroformed aluminum, a compound that when well-made can be a better option than carbon fiber.
In addition, the selected component can withstand more weight. One point in favor taking into account the location and size of the engine.

Just below the seat, in the horizontal area, is the box that hides the electric motor. While the battery is located in the vertical area of the frame. Being placed in an unusual area, they offer an impact to fans of bikes. However, the vehicle does not offer new technical details in relation to its peers.
Driving mode and characteristics
Among the details offered in the presentation of the SM project, it was learned that the bicycle will have a double chain and four driving modes, ranging from Eco to the highest level called Turbo. In the latter, all the power of the engine comes out.
An important point to note is that the bicycle does not have a suspension system, which suggests that it would be designed to be driven on asphalt or not very rustic roads.
The braking system operates on aluminum rims, and features an attractive four-spoke design.
The SM is expected to be available on the market within a few months. At the moment it is a very advanced prototype whose price is not yet known, but its designers have promised to take out before the end of the year.
