A Major Addition
MotoGP rider, Bradley Smith will join eSC to help with rider recruitment and development, using his experience in professional sport to lend his expertise, and identify athletes who can make the transition to become the first eSkootr members in the world.
Teams joining the series will have the opportunity to select drivers from the talent pool on the program at the Draft to be held in January next year. The eSC Draft will allow aspiring athletes from a wide range of sporting backgrounds, while balancing the prospects to ensure an equal level among all squads.
Khalil Beschir, Chief Operating Officer of eSkooter Championship said about the launch that eSC is a sport with a purpose. “We are calling on world-class athletes from all disciplines to come and be part of our program.”
“We will present not only an incredible sporting spectacle, but also be part of a broader mission to help deliver safety, infrastructure and technology to micromobility in our cities,” he added.
Beschir emphasized that there is a need to publicize more sustainable and safer transportation around metropolises, and to invest in technology for developing a better understanding of micromobility.
“eSkootr Championship will be the most diverse sport in the world, attracting professional athletes from all disciplines and will be truly gender neutral.
