The future of sustainable mobility lies in the development of optimal, high-performance energy sources. That’s just what E-MERSIV did after presenting an immersion cooling technology for batteries, which has a number of features that improve battery performance.
The French company describes the system through three important steps: Regenerative braking, acceleration and continuity, which apply to offer great benefits to various battery packs, whether small, medium or large. E-MERSIV’s technology can work with up to 1,000 volts, with Lithium-ion cylindrical cells or cells immersed into Dielectric liquid.
The modules can be adapted to any type of vehicle, regardless of shape. In addition, the company’s immersion cooling system offers advanced algorithms to improve safety levels, and therefore performance, as well as data logging and transfer for detailed monitoring.
Avoiding lithium plating has been another advantage offered by E-MERSIV, and a secondary double loop with a pump and plate heat exchanger can be optionally integrated into the modules.
Thanks to these attributes, the developed product offers a great performance-safety ratio that not only has a positive impact on efficiency, but also allows it to receive an ultra-fast 10 minutes charge and a longer useful life, without thermals leaks .
