The 2022 MotoE season is getting ready to start a new journey on demanding circuits that will test all the drivers on the grid, including Mattia Casadei, the new acquisition of Pons Racing in the two-wheel electrified division endorsed by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM).
“I’m very happy to be here, the team is a two-time MotoE and they are a great organization, so I feel really great with all the guys. They are fantastic teammates,” said the Italian rider about his arrival at Pons Racing for the upcoming season of the 100% electric motorcycle category.
He also said he is optimistic about his capabilities as a rider for what will be a new page written in the book of his career. “I’m pretty sure I can have a great season, because I can take the last step to win the cup, which is important.”

“We tested several things on the bike, we did a great job on track so we will see what will happen in the coming days (alluding to the three-day preseason in Spanish territory).” Everything is ready to race alongside his teammate and reigning champion of the category, Spaniard Jordi Torres.
“Jordi is a great guy who helps me and I help him. He has told me a lot of things, so I think I have found a great teammate which will be of utmost importance and will influence me to do well this season.”, said.
