Although electric innovation is getting all the spotlight nowadays, even with legislation being passed to encourage its implementation, another element has also emerged which promises to be competitive in terms of clean energy.
This is Hydrogen-powered vehicle development. The most important brands in the world have already turned their attention to this aspect, and organizations like Hyundai are betting on the construction of their cars, such as the Hyundai Nexo and its XCient fleet of trucks.
The South Korean giant will launch this September a strategy that will set the guidelines for its planning on building cars with this structure.

It is the “Hyundai Hydrogen Wave”, a virtual event where it will show new prototypes that will use this technology. There will be several “next-generation fuel cell electric vehicles”, among which there will be a new truck, and even an interesting sports sedan that has been shown for the first time on an original video.
The audiovisual material details that this future model is the size of a Hyundai Sonata, covered by a blue, black and white camouflage. Also, the brand demonstrates that hydrogen can also offer all the sportiness of a traditional combustion car, as it is not only able to skid without contemplation and drive at high speed, but also offers the sound of an electric racing car.
Event details and central focus
On September 7, Hyundai Motor Group will broadcast live on their YouTube channel, the digital meeting that will unveil their hydrogen-based wave of products and technologies.
The Asian manufacturer promises to focus on the big challenge of hydrogen mobility: refueling. With a virtually non-existent network of refueling stations, it is impossible to democratize this technology, but Hyundai promises a supply chain that will revolutionize this technology.
