A historic and long-standing company like Chrysler wants to emerge from inaction and raise its brand, established in 1925, shining in the automotive industry since then. With the help of Stellantis, it will begin to venture into the electric vehicle market.
Christine Feuell, the new CEO of the company, is the visible face of this new project, and confirmed to media the aspirations to launch several electrified cars between now and 2028.
Feuell is a well-known Senior Marketing Executive with extensive experience on omnichannel supply chain automation systems and smart building technologies.

The executive was in charge of unveiling the Airflow Concept, the company’s first car to be offered to users in the near future. This prototype will be available specifically for 2025, and at the same time, the North American company is working on the development of three other vehicles to be added to the new technologies.
Airflow Concept has included the so-called STLA SmartCockpit, which has individual screens for each occupant, with integrated video cameras for videoconferencing, and offers all kinds of connected services for entertainment, downloading apps, searching for stores or restaurants and online shopping. In addition, future models will feature remote upgrades.
The Power of Stellantis
To achieve the goal of transition, Chrysler will leverage the new STLA platforms of Stellantis, the automotive giant created in 2021 from the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Group. It will have four highly modular structures that will allow them to share technologies with each other and to serve as the basis for electric cars for all its brands.
Named Small, Medium, Large and Frame, the STLA platforms are being developed with a strategy aimed at increasing economies of scale and generating profit margins reaching 10% by 2026. The investment that Stellantis dedicated to this purpose was 30 billion euros.

The company set a 10-year deadline for Chrysler to put all its affairs in order and become a viable firm. In that sense, the transformation from a minivan brand to an electric vehicle manufacturer will be key.
While not offering further details, Feuell noted that all the electrics Chrysler has on the agenda will be equipped with a 118 kWh battery, which will allow a range of approximately 650 kilometers and, with the use of the Stellantis structure, could be capable of up to 805 km on a single charge.
