The McLaren Racing Extreme E team has unveiled a major new addition ahead of its second season debut on the ” Electric Odyssey “. The American Tanner Foust, will be their male representative in charge of driving the “Odyssey 21”, which is likely to be dressed in black and red.
With 4 rallycross titles at his homeland (2019, 2012, 2011, 2010), and the same number but in gold medals at the X Games (2013, 2010, 2007) Foust joins a competition that fits him perfectly, as the Extreme E takes place in the most inhospitable territories of the world.
McLaren Racing CEO, Zak Brown, defined Tanner as a world-class competitor and all-rounder, adding that: “Besides his driving prowess, he is a fantastic personality, who will help us connect with new fans around the world, bringing the purpose and important messages of Extreme E to the forefront”.

Tanner Foust: Brief Biography
Born on June 13, 1973, Tanner Foust was drawn to racing from an early age.
Off the track, Foust is known for hosting the car show Top Gear. He has also participated as a stunt driver in films such as “The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift” and “Need For Speed”.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from the Colorado State University.
On tracks, Tanner has been one of the most outstanding drivers in the X Games, with 9 medals. Additionally, he has achieved several world records, such as the incredible Hot Wheels Double Loop Dare, in which he drove a car through a 66-foot loop.
